We have booked a family holiday going to greece leaving next week. We stupidly didn't think to check the kids passports assuming they would be fine but we forgot that the child ones only last 5 years!. This left in a crazy position where we need to get 2 kids passports by next week! I have tried contacting the office about quick passport renewal options and they advised it could be done but would need to be done in person and by appointment. Next problem was trying to arrange myself so i can be available to go to the office with all the forms and stuff, we spent the best part of 3 hours combing through the forms to make sure we had filled everything in correctly and that nothing on there had been missed out. The appointment was a bit awkward because i had to take time off work so if this went wrong i wouldn't be able to re-arrange it!. Luckily the office accepted my forms and started the ball rolling on the new passports. |
