Dealing with the trouble of chronic diseases

Since time immemorial man has had to battle with one or so of this kind. Chronic diseases have been there with us all along. The difference is man has adopted to the environment quite favorably to the extend that he can now control some of the diseases comfortably. The ones he can't treat he can vaccinate and this has helped a great deal. Consider polio for example, what would have happened to the enter population if there was no vaccine for this kind. I think the world as we know it would not exist at all.It is in this light that we believe the government grants autism programs. In part its because they know the trouble that comes with dealing with this disease. Autism being a chronic disease that has no cure has the potential to cripple a person to a vegetable state in the shortest time possible. This leaves many in society living in despair if no meaningful interest is taken to help families deal with the pandemic. We should all take part in every little way that we can to ensure that our friends and neighbors have a life too.
